One of our favourite events in Rarotonga each year is the Te Mire Atu Composers Competition held in March. This is a cultural cornerstone of the Cook Islands, showcasing the rich musical heritage and creative talents of our people. This annual event not only honours traditional Polynesian music but also fosters the growth of contemporary compositions, making it a unique and vital platform for artists across the region.
